What is RMSC ?

The Rocky Mountain Schedulers Conference (RMSC) is an annual meeting of crude schedulers working American and Canadian assets. Crude schedulers coordinate with other schedulers to ensure that oil barrels are shipped timely to delivery destinations. RMSC is a platform to connect schedulers in-person to form lasting business-improving relationships while expanding general knowledge of the interconnected aspects of oil and gas. RMSC was started in 1998 and is a not-for-profit event.

Who are crude oil schedulers?

In 2019, RBN Energy, LLC published an article by John Zanner on crude oil schedulers. This article is a wonderful description of how integral schedulers are to the industry and praises the work and dedication that schedulers have. RBN Energy, LLC has generously allowed RMSC to feature the full article here on our webpage.

Annual Planning Committee
Every year four people are chosen to plan the next year’s conference, generally two from Canada and two from USA. The planning committee chooses the next city for RMSC, plans and organizes all events, and arranges the educational agenda.

Board Members
Past committee members are eligible to continue assisting and volunteering their time to help RMSC. The board was created in 2024 to help RMSC achieve non-profit tax status.
